Winterblues ..

Oh my god .. I can't believe it I haven't posted a blog in such a long time!

It is just that it's winter and at wintertime I don't really feel like doing anything + I'm ill all the time so I don't spend much time online then..

But because I haven't posted in such a long time I will make a longer blog than usual today!

So, in the break I went to a wholesale business and they had a lot of stuff for nailart but everything was a bit expensive so I haven't bought that much but I still bought a lot ..





And have you already seen the I love Berlin collection from essence(ofcourse you have ) but I love the colours ! I have them all except for I'm a Berliner. But I spend a lot of my money on nailpolish and nailartstuff so I made a promise to myself that I'm not going to buy any nailpolish for a whole month ..(don't know if i will keep myself to that promise but we'll see haha)

So I have tried green grass with the matte tippainter from the collection and I love them both! You only need 1 or 2 layers and it's really easy in use and I think the colour is amazing! About the matte tippainter I didnt have one yet so I thought lets try this and it doesnt matter if it's matte or not because if I want it shiny I just put    shiny topcoat over it.So I don't know how I came to this idea but I just tried a few things with it and I liked this one! I made some pictures of this one but then I hadn't cleaned around my nails yet and i forgot to take pictures later so I'm sorry my fingers are such a mess! But I really liked this one so I still wanted to share it with you. But because this one is ugly I will show another to you as well.

So for this one I used Essence twins Bonnie,Essence choose me and hot looks mint mojo.

I know it doesnt look very pretty yet but it was my second nailart so i think it went quit well for the second time! 

I will post more often in the future!

Remember I told you about my nails, and that they turned green..
Well I have good news and bad nails ..
good news :  they're not green anymore
bad news : they turned BLUE!
Look at them : ( .
Well it's a good thing I always wear nailpolish I guess..












But ofcourse I have another review for you!
And this time it's enchanted fairy .. well I think it's called like that because i los the sticker and i looked it up so I hope that I don't give wrong information.
But I looove this colour it's the second time i bought it.
I just think it's a really special colour.. and it;s just sooo pretty.
The only thing is that you have to use at least three layers for full coverage.

that was it for today again!

Only 1 day school to go and then holidaaay!! Merry Christmas to everybody !

 Hi,

pff, It has snowed again, and a lot i can't believe we didn't get free from school because of the snow.

I mean there fell like almost 20 cm ( 7.87 inches or 0.65feet ) And my school is 5 minutes away and this time it took me 25 minutes to get there..

But ofcourse i have a new review on a nailpolish and this time it's bonnie from essence twin collection ( I don't have clyde yet :(  ) But I love this polish, I love the colour and it's also very shiny haha and I like that.

But when you want to get ir off of your nails you should use thecottonwool method. ( so do nailpolishremover on the wool and than put in on you nail and wrap aluminum foil around your finger) otherwise your fingers will turn blue haha and you don't want that to happen.

You don't need a lot of layer even one (thick) will do but I used more because i kept messing up my finger. I think the first picture shows the colour of the polish best! 

when you look at my blogs you only see blueish greenish colours and that's really not on purpose so next time i will swatch a brown or pink one. Well, at least not a blue one haha.

Hi ! I'm sooo sorry i didn't post for such a long time but I just didn't have time and my nails are a mess.


Ooh I wish it was christmas then i'll finally get my basecoat .. ( Yeah I know it's scandalous I don't have a base coat yet) but i thought I wouldn't need one , well I found out the hard way. My nails are totally green !


I looked up some remedy's to get back the normal colour and i've tried lemonjuice but it didn't work and there was something with bleech but that doesn't seem very healthy does it ?
Please help me out and leave a comment on how to get my natural nailcolour back : (
So I have made some pictures of my nailpolish that made my nailsgreen if it wasn't so pretty I would have thrown it away by now haha : (


So the polish that made my nails green is Choose me! from Essence

there has been no sun at all so the pictures are a bit ugly.And at the time this picture was taken I still didn't have nailpolish remover because my mom had forgotten to buy it .. (mothers..) So my review, I think the colour is soo pretty. It reminds me of a very pretty mermaidtail i don't know why but that's just the feeling  I get when I see it. And You don't need a lot of layers only 2! and it's very easy to paint your nails with as well. but one thing! NEVER PUT IT ON WITHOUT A BASECOAT haha, Serously my nails are really green. Saturday I will make a picture of them en put it online so you can see it ; )

Eyeko vintage ! ( sorry the photo's weren't working) ( they're still a bit strange)

pfff. I'm so tired. I'm having a really big test of french Friday so I have done nothing else than studying today.
I'm sorry i didn't post yesterday but i was too tired because of the sleepover I had friday.
So I guess you're wondering what Sinterklaas is, I found this description on internet.


Sinterklaas is a traditional Winter holiday figure in the Netherlands, he is celebrated annually on Saint Nicholas' eve (5 December) or, in Belgium, on the morning of 6 December. Originally, the feast celebrates the name day of Saint Nicholas, patron saint of Amsterdam, children and sailors. Today, Sinterklaas is not regarded as a Christian celebration any more, and since celebrating Saint's name days is an unknown phenomenon in the historically protestant Netherlands, the Dutch celebrate at the 5th of December his reputed birthday. He is the basis of the mythical holiday figure of Santa Claus in the United States.








Yesterday I have done my nails so I will write down a revieuw for you.












In this first picture you see the eyeko vintagepolish i looove this colour but you have to use a lot of layers so it's very hard to keep it pretty.





















Then I used the essence glisten it up! (again) because my friend Lois once used my eyeko and thought when she got home ooh maybe this one will look pretty on it. and it did! that's why I used it again ;)But i already told you what I thought of the essencepolish so i won't tell you again ;) if you want to know you can take a click at this link.

I don't know if I can post another blog this week because of my studying but i'll try.

Hi !
You know, in Holland it's snowing and freezing. Everything is white and it's so cold the temprature lies around -2 but it feels like -15 ( at least, that's what the weatherstations say) .
When I was little I loved snow but right now I'm not so sure anymore.

Why to love snow:
- Everything looks so beautiful when it's snowed under.
- You can have a lot of fun with your friends in it.
- Without snow skiing and snowboarding wouldn't excist.

Why to hate snow:
- Everything gets wet because of it and then I get a cold.
- If you want to get somewhere you have to ride/drive really slow 'cause otherwise you'll fall or you're in an accident or something.
- When it's there for a while it gets dirty and black and then it isn't pretty anymore

You see my dilemma ?!? haha

Now, back to business today I tried some new nailpolish that I got yesterday with celebrating 'sinterklaas' with my friends. I will explain to you what sinterklaas is tomorrow 'cause right now I want to get to the review!


The first picture is essence just rock it!
It covers quite well, you only need 2 layers.But it's very hard to get off your nails because it's a dark blue color if you try to get it of your fingers turn blue.. haha. I'm sorry its a bit sloppy but that's because my corrector is lost. I have no idea where it is, and as I already said, It's hard to get off.













Here I combined the just rock it! with essence Glisten up.
I was curious on how it would look and i think it turned out very well!
I'm definitely gonna use this combination more often.
The Glisten up! is very nice but I don't think it's pretty if you use it without putting on a base colour first.
And i'm gonna try this one with other colours as well!

Hi,my name is Amber and this is my first blog so I'll tell you what my blogs are going to be like.
As you can read in my About me I'm a nailpolish addict so I'm going to post photo's and reviews about nailpolishes and tell you things about my day.And I will make some combinations with nailpolishes so you can get  inspiration from it. I hope that in some time when I have enough money to buy it I can do real naildecorations because now I don't have the things to do that yet.
The reason I started a blog is because of my friend Lois from Nail York City. I just loved her blog and I wanted to do the same.
I don't have a lot of nailpolishes yet but I'm working on it ! So now I'm going to start on my first real post!
